In July’s Lucky Magazine–its annual “budget issue”–the magazine talked about items that actual, real people could afford. One of its articles featured cosmetics and hair products. Some of the items was stuff that I never heard of–and was only sold online or in selected stores–but some of it was really stuff that’s widely available.
Here are some Lucky’s picks:
The Face Shop Mask Sheet–Walgreens
Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream
Wet N Wild Lip Pencil
Elf Super Glossy Lip Shine
Revlon Nail Enamel
Johnson’s Baby Oil Gel
Queen Helene Cholestrol Hair Conditioning Cream
VO5 Conditioning Hairdressing
Lac-Hydrin Five (actually a doctor turned me on to this moisturizer)
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
And finally for heavy duty wrinkle control: Neutrogena SPF 85 sunblock and Roc Retinol Deep Wrinkle Night Cream.

I love the great low-cost options! It makes room for big ticket items like great foundation and powder!!
